A Celebration of the life of Julie Bates will be held on Saturday 8th June 2024 at the Bay Horse Inn, Oxenhope, near Keighley, starting at 2 pm, to which all friends and family are invited. A steam train on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, on which she worked as their first full time administration assistant, will carry a wreath on the locomotive smokebox on the 12.30 pm service from Keighley, Ingrow West, Oakworth and Haworth to Oxenhope. Buses from Keighey, Haworth and Hebeen Bridge railway station stop outside the pub.
